Dearest CEC Families,
We hope you and your family are healthy and safe. We are aware that all family and student circumstances may vary, especially during these unprecedented times. Life during a pandemic is everything but normal, in many instances it can be incredibly difficult. Directly or indirectly, Covid has affected every aspect of our lives so it is with heartfelt sympathy that we acknowledge the challenges and losses that have been endured by our families, and the impact the pandemic has had on our school community.
But however at Compton Early College (CEC) we know that getting through tough times together is far easier than going it alone and we are eager to help in any way we can. We applaud all of our families who now find themselves juggling school and home life in ways that are both courageous and creative, you are all champions to us! The entire CEC staff has come together to put in place plans to support students. Below is a compilation of essential information put in place by administration, support staff, and teachers from each department that will provide guidance that even further defines how to remain on track, get back on track or receive the social emotional support needed for every student to succeed.
Please take care and be safe.
The CEC Virtual Support Room includes tools and resources that promote resilience and wellness. Try an activity a day, or more if you like. All free to use, no sign up required.
