Compton Unified School District has a new Mental Health support line. This confidential support line will allow our students, families, and staff direct access to mental health information and services. The support line will be available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and monitored by CUSD Mental Health professionals. Call (310) 604-6600.
This is not a suicide or medical emergency hotline. If you or someone you know, is experiencing suicidal thoughts or a medical emergency, please call 911 or the Psychiatric Mobile Response Team (PMRT) at (800) 854-7771.
Compton Early College is joining with Verizon Innovative Learning to equip every middle school student and teacher with a tablet and up to four years of data providing access for learning in the classroom or at home. Verizon Innovative Learning provides schools with dedicated technology coaches and support from Digital Promise to train teachers on effectively integrating technology into the classroom, across all subjects. More specifically, Verizon Innovative Learning is igniting these students’ interest in STEM careers, providing them the opportunity to become lifelong learners, creators, and problem solvers.

Welcome
Compton Early College (CEC) in partnership with Compton College is in its fifth year of operation. We are still celebrating our inaugural graduating class of 2019 and looking forward to building on their legacy. Established in 2015 as a senior high school, CEC has incorporated a middle school and spans from grade 6-12. An early college's purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to earn an AA (Associates of Arts Degree) and/or IGETC (Intersegmental General Eduction Transfer Certificate) while also earning their high school diploma.
Schedule a conference with your child's teachers. Conferences will happen by telephone or video.
