Compton Early College (CEC) in partnership with Compton College is in its eighth year of operation. Established in 2015 as a senior high school, CEC has incorporated a middle school and spans grades 6-12.  An early college's purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to earn an AA (Associate of Arts Degree) and/or IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Certificate) while also earning their high school diploma.

US News and World Report Rankings Best High SchoolsCompton Early College was ranked among the top 100 public high schools in California by U.S. News and World Report. The annual ranking ranks schools based on factors such as graduation rates and academic performance. Since its first senior class, Compton Early College has had a 100% graduation rate and a 100% four-year college                                              acceptance rate every year. Compton Early                                                  College High School ranked #32 in the state of                                            California and #280 in the entire United States.

Directly or indirectly, Covid has affected every aspect of our lives. The entire CEC staff has come together to put in place plans to support students.

Our Pathways to Success includes essential information that further defines how to remain on track, get back on track, or receive the social-emotional support needed for every student to succeed.
