Welcome
Compton Early College (CEC) in partnership with Compton College is in its fifth year of operation. We are still celebrating our inaugural graduating class of 2019 and looking forward to building on their legacy. Established in 2015 as a senior high school, CEC has incorporated a middle school and spans from grade 6-12. An early college's purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to earn an AA (Associates of Arts Degree) and/or IGETC (Intersegmental General Eduction Transfer Certificate) while also earning their high school diploma.
Compton Early College was ranked among the top 100 public high schools in California by U.S. News and World Report. The annual ranking ranks schools based on factors such as graduation rates and academic performance. Since its first senior class, Compton Early College has had a 100% graduation rate and a 100% four-year college acceptance rate every year. Compton Early College High School ranked #53 in the state of California and #393 in the entire United States.
Congratulations to the students, staff, and community allies whose hard work earned this recognition!
