Attention eighth grade students

Compton Early College High School is in its second year of operation, building upon it previous year's success. An early college's purpose is to provide the students with an opportunity to earn their Associative Arts college degree while also getting their high school diploma. To that end, Compton Early College High School  is a collaboration between El Camino Community College Compton Center and Compton Unified School District. Compton Early College currently has freshman and sophomore students and will add students every year so that it becomes the home for grades 9-12.

We are aware of recent activities in the United States and social media that involve clowns disrupting communities and schools, creating paranoia.

 

First off we want you to know your child is safe at Compton Early College High School. We are taking these activities seriously and have continued our vigilance to keep non-students off campus. For this reason students have been required to wear their I.D.s on campus at all times. We want students to be safe, focused in class, and neither fearful nor paranoid concerning these recent activities.
